"Outside the neighbourhood, beyond its fleeting and continually threatened changelessness, stretched a half known city where people met only by chance, losing their way forever" Guy Debord.

This is an album I'd have wanted to release aged 18 but didn't have the means or equipment/technology to do so - a large proportion of the music is played live rather than programmed.

It's unashamedly inspired by my favourite bands of that era: Magazine, Joy Division/New Order, Simple Minds and also contemporary influences like These New Puritans, 65 Days of Static and Mogwai.

Wasn't too sure about this one, being a bunch of remixes of the same two tracks but it does work as an album. The remixed versions are all different enough to make it a worthwhile purchase. The Empty Sea mix of Einhlida is too short, mind. jumbotrousers
